Dress Code

In an effort to promote a professional and a distraction-free learning environment, Granada East students are required to wear a uniform daily. For 4th - 7th grade students, the uniform consists of navy blue pants, shorts or skirts and a light blue or white polo shirt.  For 8th grade students only, the uniform is khaki colored pants, shorts or skirts and red polo shirts only. Students are also permitted to wear an official school spirit shirt.

On occasion, if eligible, our students are allowed to have a “casual dress” day. On these days, students must wear appropriate clothes that comply with the requirements outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook. Parents are always notified, in advance, when these days occur. In addition, those students that exceed on the previous year's AIMS assessment are permitted to "dress down" each Friday.

If a student’s appearance is disruptive or inappropriate, the student will be required to contact his/her parent to change into appropriate dress.
